CROSSTEX DECLARES QUARTERLY DISTRIBUTION AND DIVIDEND
DALLAS, April 22, 2008 The Crosstex Energy companies today announced the declaration of the
quarterly distribution for Crosstex Energy, L.P. (NASDAQ: XTEX) (the Partnership) and the quarterly
dividend for Crosstex Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: XTXI) (the Corporation):

The quarterly distribution on the Partnerships common units will increase from $0.61
per unit to $0.62 per unit, payable May 15 to unitholders of record May 2. |

|
|
The quarterly dividend on the Corporations common stock will increase from $0.26 per
share to $0.36 per share, payable May 15 to stockholders of record May 2. |
